this is an evolving document on how to host an open mic, from what i can remember to write down.
i am one of the co-founders of the keep colorado springs queer open mic and have been the primary host of the open mic since 2016. i started the open mic with my friend han sayles at mountain fold books after complaining about yet another instance of an event organizer
